January Sales

Hi,

I plan to head to Vegas on January 1st...primarily to visit family but also to gamble and shop!!!

Will there be good new year sales in places like dillards or macys? I%26#39;m hoping for some good bargains and I have my eye on a cute coach purse!

What about somewhere like Gucci?

Anny suggestions for good shopping locations?

January Sales

We don%26#39;t do January sales like the UK and Ireland. In the US, things tend to go ';on sale'; all over the year, for any reason or minor holiday whatsoever.

Our big post-holiday sales will start bright and early (VERY early in some cases, like 6:00 a.m.) on the morning after Christmas, and by January 1 a lot of the stuff will be picked over.

OTOH, you%26#39;re asking about some very specific designer brands so hopefully someone can help you out with those - do those big brands EVER go on sale?

I disagree. New Years is one of the best time to get deal and epsecially this time around when sales through Christmas look to be so weak. Everyone will have clearance sales but it is never easy to score deals on luxury goods like Gucci or Coach purses.

Feel free to disagree, but many shoppers will be out snatching up those bargains on December 26, 27, 28, 29...there will be much less choice in early January when the OP comes on the scene.

Macy%26#39;s has a sale everyday. Dillards maybe. But these are ';anchor'; stores which you find everywhere. Every shop in LV has coach, gucchi brighton ect. purses, I should know I can not get out of LV w/o wife buying coach, brighton,or someother overpiced hand bag.

The only diffrence in LV Macy%26#39;s and other like them, are the buyers are diffrent and you find diffrent syles in vegas compared to say Houston.

i always hold off for the big sales after thanksgiving and new years sales (jan.2)

not to mention the outlets will have great sales come jan. 2

Just back and LV outlet centre is a good place for bargains,we got some great deals in Tommy hillfiger and Gap,dilliards were closing down but we got some very cheap clothes there, I imagine the shops will have good sales after christmas,we always go to New York in jan or feb and the sales in macys are fab..Hope this helps
