is Vegas still crowded/busy ?

Just wondering from all of you recent travellers if Vegas is any less crowded due to the economic challenges in the past few Months ?

I have read that there were very few lineups and easy to get seating in most restaurants (especially the high end ones).

Easier to get upgrades when chceking in.

Watching the live web cams at Earthcams.com doesnt look crowded.

Hoping to make my ';annual pilgrimage to the ';Vegas Land'; In Jan or Feb09 - even with our Canadian dollar back down in value :-(

Thanks

is Vegas still crowded/busy ?

Heading to Vegas next week for the fourth time this year and in the previous trips has not seemed quite as busy as in year%26#39;s past and the numbers at the airport and such bear that out...

is Vegas still crowded/busy ?

went to Vegas Nov. 9-14...no problem with landing, as I had read that one runway was closed...stayed downtown.and ventured to the strip and Sams Town a couple times.....not very many people, but I liked it as there was never a problem getting a machine...Only morning it was crowded was Veterans Day Parade downtown...streets were lined...but, later that day, very few people...also, there was a ';firemans Competition'; right outside Fitz and 4Q%26#39;s, but still was not much of a crowd...course, the slots were ';tight';, more so than I have experienced in the past 15 years...reading the ReviewJournal, it seems all the casinos are having money problems..

Was in Vegas Nov. 13-16. No lines checking in The Mirage or for meals. Saw LOVE Thursday night and it was probably 80% full. Bette Midler%26#39;s show Friday night was close to sold out. Had no trouble finding video poker slots or DH finding room at the poker table. We were on the plane 45 minutes on runway before we were able to take off on Sunday. No taxi lines at airport or hotel.

Was there 11/9 - 13th and I liked the less crowded atmosphere. Still plenty of people, but no long waits for elevators, restaurants, or taxi%26#39;s, and I could always find a machine to pour $$ into. We also thought service was very good - especially drink service (which may or may not be a good thing -lol)

I was there Nov. 9-11 and I found it less crowded than usual, but still plenty lively. We stayed at Bally%26#39;s and the casino was pretty packed even until the wee hours. It wasn%26#39;t until 2-3 o%26#39;clock that we didn%26#39;t have to fight for our favorite machines. I did see Love on Nov. 9th and the theater wasn%26#39;t very full. We also didn%26#39;t have trouble at any restaurants.

We were there Nov. 6-9, it was our 4th time this year, and that was one the most crowded weekends I%26#39;ve seen in a long time.

We just got back yesterday. Was the least crowded I%26#39;ve ever seen it. Checi out my TR report for comments.

I was in Vegas Nov 10 -14.

Monday the 14th was dead, it was a ghost town. Rest of the week picked up, but lines were minimal and the shows we were at were anywhere from 50% - 70% full.

We left Friday night, and we had zero planes in front of us for take-off. First time ever!!!

Cheers,
