Is it too early to get promotion codes for May 2009?

I will be coming to vegas 5th May 2009 for 3 nights as part of a group. There will be 12 in total so we are looking for 6 rooms. What is the best way to get the cheapest deal at one of the better hotels - Bellagio; Venetian; Wynn etc? Any suggestions gratefully received.

Wait until March (at the earliest) for May Promos. May usually isn%26#39;t cheap, but sign up for all the email promos and check out fatwallet.com as time gets closer. Many people will post on here too if there are good deals. Good luck.

We%26#39;re going in May as well. Right now a lot of the hotels are offering specials through April 2009. May%26#39;s will probably come out in January. The only May offer I have is for Treasure Island and Mirage. It%26#39;s a 20% off code (which is also on their website).

You should sign up for Travelzoo.com. They have awesome weekly specials if you sign up for their e-mail club.

Yes its much too early. some hotels may be closed by then.

As earlier posters have said, Feb and March are probably the right times to start looking but don%26#39;t expect December prices even in a recession.

However there should be some good deals around, just be careful of the non-refundable ones.

Hopefully the dollar will have picked up some by then but don%26#39;t hold your breath!

Thanks all of you who have replied. I will take your advice and look again in February. It%26#39;s great to be able to get good advice. Luckily I bought the dollars I intend to spend when they were 2 to the pound!
