Comp Offers are Improving

We booked Mirage for early January with a comped offer that expires January 5th. Noticed on Playersclub website that another offer was available. Called Casino marketing and was advised that new offer was almost double the free play and included more ';Mirage Rewards';. Rebooked under new offer.

Hotels must really be hurting..

Comp Offers are Improving

Yeah-of course they are starting to feel the pain, but I wanted to say I had a similar experience. We were there for the annual anniversary trip a year and a half ago and qualified to have a ';slot host'; with our play. We did not get there this year, but are going just after x-mas. They told me when I called that I was qualified for several offers as well and were sure to get me the one with the most free play, etc. I expect that the offers will continue to improve, and I can only hope, as we know that airfare isn%26#39;t going down any. That said, how can you get any more free than free? Maybe more free play, or offer suites to the most valued guests.

Comp Offers are Improving

LOL Blackjack -- I NEVER consider comps ';free'; --- just an asprin to ease the pain a little for the usual hang over after playing slots too long. (Although couple trips ago was very lucky playing on TI free play -- even received one of those dreaded tax forms that we have to figure out what to do with!)

I had the ';Choice'; offer come out first, it offered X amount of free slot play and rooms for 3 nights.

Then the ';Torrid'; offer appeared, it offers even More $$$ free play in addition to X amount towards picking up charges that You charge back to your room i.e. dining, gift shop, etc.

So, if Youre looking at the www.playersclub.com web site account and You see ';Choice'; or ';Torrid';, probably Torrid will offer You more than the Choice.

The dates do somewhat overlap, so choose the best one! :)

Nice! I hit for $750 canadian at Niagara Falls on a business trip earlier this year! No forms needed, but hopefully a nice omen for the future. My wife wore out a ';Jackpot Party'; machine last time and turned $700 of our money into $1500 total coin in once she reinvested many of any wins she hit. Amazing how they start buying your food/beverage/rooms when you put some decent bank through the machines (not that 1500 is much, but enough I guess!). We will try and leave some money in the machines at Mirage for you. ;-)

And, I sure wish MGM Mirage group would spell out what the Offers are, like Harrahs does. Most of the time You have to phone Marketing to find out what they are offering, at least I do.

I just checked my acct. I knew I%26#39;d been invited to a slot tournament for Dec 15-19, but there%26#39;s another one mid Jan I%26#39;ve been invted to that I didn%26#39;t know about.

Sunny, my other offers were %26#39;Posh%26#39; and %26#39;Sizzle%26#39;. Did it tell on yours what level you were?

Blackjack -- Haven%26#39;t been to the Niagra Casino but heard it%26#39;s nice (apparently a little lucky too)!

Enjoy your trip to Vegas and let me know if you find any ';lucky machines'; at Mirage!

Hey Gabby,

I just looked again. On Slot Tournaments I see one called Free Play Fiasco Slot Tourny 12-15/17

and another called Polar Payout Slot Tourny 1-15/17.

When I click on any of the Offers for Mirage, it gave no description or tier/level. I always have to phone Marketing to find out what it is they are offering (like the ';Choice'; or ';Torrid'; offers) or the details of a slot tournament.

Where do you find the level at?

Those are the two tournaments I%26#39;ve had offers for.

Sunny, when I look at my acct and offers the one at the top is the Fiasco one, then there%26#39;s a space and after that near the bottom are my other offers. The first other offer listed in that bottom section is the Polar Bear tournament. Right after that, the next entry says....Winter Offer-Tier 6-Posh 11/07/08-01/05/09.

Yup! There sure are improving the offers. I was in Vegas in October and signed up at the Venetian for the Grazie card along with $15.00 in free play for signing up. I put in the $15.00 and maybe another 40.00 and then left. Yesterday I received 2 different offers. One for Dec. %26amp; one for Jan. Both offered me 3 free nights at Venetian or Pallazzo Suites. Go figure that one out. Unfortunately I can%26#39;t go until spring as I will be a Gramma 2 more times between Jan %26amp; April. I sure hope they keep sending me those kind of offers. They must really be hurting.
