Christmas in laughlin

I will be in Laughlin for a few days in December and was wondering if their was a must see Holiday displays in the surounding area? Is the Riverwalk decorated? Any help or suggestions will be very appreciated. Thank You

All of the river walk will be decorated, especially behind the Pioneer. Believe it or not, the places are starting to assemble their decorations already.

By the way, the Pioneer is adding a large addition on the north side of the casino. It is almost completed.

Susie and I will be spending the entire Christmas-New Year%26#39;s Holiday season in Wisconsin. I am reinforcing my long-johns already. Burrrrrr!

I always enjoy visiting the Pioneer.

Hey Grif, we used to go to Wisconsin every Christmas but this year we talked the kids into celebrating Christmas on Thanksgiving! The weather should not be as severe at that time, we hope! Always hate that Chicago traffic, even in dry conditions.

I assume it is a casino addition. I will ask next time.

I don%26#39;t think there is any addition to the Pioneer. They are putting up new siding and signage on the outside. However, I hope I am wrong and there is something new at the Pioneer.

Pioneer is getting rid of the outhouses and installing restrooms with real running water. Thats good as i will be having thanksgiving dinner there!

On the Pioneer%26#39;s website it says they are getting a a new look. (I think he used the word facelift) It%26#39;s under Rodger%26#39;s Ramblings, Cowboy corner.
