New Year's Eve room at the Mirage for $199

Here%26#39;s a goodie. The desperation of the casinos continue. Wonder if anyone else is going to do this as well. Here%26#39;s the link:

New Year's Eve room at the Mirage for $199

Wow, that%26#39;s like giving the room away on NYE.

New Year's Eve room at the Mirage for $199

They in Fact are giving them away!!! We just got an offer for 2 free nights via email!! Catch here is looked up airfare and its over $500PP RT from Detroit. So unless airfare comes down that trip will not happen!!!

I just received Mirage email... 2 free nights including NYEve! Yeah. Booked it an hour ago!

Guess they just want to get people to show up.

aww are those emails for free nights for select people or if you have signed up for the email list?

Those deals will be for individuals with a gambling history. Even in these troubled economic times hotels won%26#39;t give free nights away just for signing up for emails!

The link posted by the OP stated their offer had to be booked by calling casino management at the Mirage rather than general reservations.

Not true, Blagger...I got the Mirage e-mail also and I only gambled there for an hour before LOVE, and I%26#39;m pretty sure I didn%26#39;t even have my MGM card with me (but I am on the e-mail list for all the MGM/Mirage properties, nothing to do with gambling).

It has EVERYTHING to do with gambling! If you didn%26#39;t have an active MGM/Mirage Players Club card, you would NOT have received that %26#39;two night NYE comp%26#39;d room%26#39; offer. People that sign up for promotions on the hotel websites will not receive the same promotions as people that have active Players Club cards. I hardly gamble at the Mirage but I DO gamble at other MGM/Mirage properties making me also eligible for that great promotion BUT I really don%26#39;t think hotel websites send out offers that include two comp%26#39;d nights with NYE included UNLESS you have some sort of gambling history!!

I was referring to the original post, which if you click on the link you will see is an offer for $199/nt for NYE. That%26#39;s the offer I got.

There%26#39;s a better deal out there. You can get a suite at The Hotel part of Mandalay Bay for $170.

I got the free offer for Mirage at NYE, too bad I can%26#39;t take advantage of it!
