Why in the world would anyone spend Christmas in Pahrump? It is one of the least appealing towns in the entire Death Valley area.

If this is a visit to Las Vegas, do something in town for that day.

If it is a visit to Death Valley, there aren%26#39;t that many elaborate displays, but there is often a parade at Furnace Creek Ranch with decorated floats. It isn%26#39;t huge and spectacular, but it%26#39;s folksy and fun. Furnace Creek Inn is often decorated elegantly with luminarias and lighting.
