with all the doom and gloom and predictions of things getting worse we have decided to spend 8 nights in vegas in march.how bad are things now and will they get worse in vegas?

I just talked to a friend who got back yesterday, and they said it was busy as usual.

I think NY is scheduled to close around 5 March.

Norgetroll: Too funny! I heard that Vegas will be closing but the TUNNEL will remain open and unwitting tourists will be driven back and forth thru the tunnel for days on end.

Oh please don%26#39;t talk about Vegas ever closing its doors........that is so depressing, it is my playground haha

Nope.. didn%26#39;t you get the memo? No more Vegas in March.. you%26#39;ll have to try Reno, Atlantic City or Central City.

obviously aussie humour is different to american. it was meant as a lighthearted discussion of how vegas will cope with the global meltdown and will everything still be operating as normal
