advice needed for 2008 Pioneer at Sam Boyd Stadium 20th Dec

Hi All,

I%26#39;ve booked tickets for hubby and me to watch this game but could use some advice please, the tickets have the info i put in %26#39;topic%26#39; but they also say EVENT LV Bowl VENUE Thomas and Mack so im not sure what to look up. Could anyone confirm where it is and advice how we should get there from the strip and how far etc it is and generaly give me an idea of what goes on at these games, i%26#39;ve been told people get there from lunchtime onwards not sure if this is true or how long the game last%26#39;s.

Sorry if i%26#39;ve gone on a bit, and just want to say i love this forum you guys are great.

I%26#39;m guessing that you%26#39;re referring to the Pioneer Bowl on December 20th.

Sam Boyd Stadium is about 6-7 miles from the Strip. Rental car would be my ideal means of transportation (a day%26#39;s rental would probably be cheaper than taking cabs). You could take buses but this could be a little time consuming. Depending upon the interest in the game and what teams are involved it%26#39;s possible that there may be shuttle transportation available to and from the Strip. The concierge at your hotel would be able to offer advice on this.

The game gets underway at 5pm. I would get there a few hours in advance of this to enjoy the atmosphere and partying going on. The game itself will last around three hours.
