We are going to Las Veags for Thanksgiving and want to visit the Grand Canyon. We would like to do a non-flying tour. Which company do you recommend? Also West Rim or South Rim?

You definately want to do the South Rim. The West Rim is scenic, but it does not have the beauty or grandeur of the South Rim. The WR is not in GC National Park. Having said that, I%26#39;m not a fan of one-day GC tours from Vegas. They are brutaly long, it will be at least 5 hours each way with all the pick-ups and drop-offs they make along the Strip. And after all that driving you will get little time at the Canyon, in most instances about 2 hours. Most people seem satisfied with a visit of this length. The GC is one of the most beautfiul places on the face of the earth. I think it deserves more time than any one day tour can offer.
