We are heading to LV the first week of March, and not sure what to expect in terms of weather.
What clothes should we pack for shopping, walking during the day? Nice dinners and maybe a nightclub or two at night?
Thanks
Packing for March
That%26#39;s just about the most unpredictable time of the whole year for Vegas weather. You could get temps ranging from anything from 50s to 80s. The experiences of others in previous years aren%26#39;t of any great significance to how it will be then next year.
Check a forecast as you%26#39;re about to pack and take clothes that can be worn in layers to cover most eventualities.

im going in the end of march...i hope its warm!!!
The temps can be all over the place in March. What it is like one year has nothing to do with what it is like any other year. The average high-mid 60s but the highs can range from the 40s to the 90s! On the 21st of March in 2004 the high was 92. On the 21 2006 the high was 51! That is how much the temps can vary. You are going to have to check a weather site just before leaving. It is always best to bring clothes that can be layered so you can be prepared for any kind of weather.
Vegas is a very casual town. You will see everything from shorts/torn jeans to formalwear almost everywhere you go-especially during the day . Some people like to dress up at night while many don%26#39;t bother. The clubs do have dress codes-but I can%26#39;t help you with those. At some of the more expensive restaurants people do tend to dress up a bit but it doesn%26#39;t have to over-the-top. I%26#39;ve worn a black skirt/slacks with a silk blouse and I never felt uncomfortable.
Packing for Vegas, eh? Definitely shorts and a parka.
Seriously, someone needs to make a sticky for this.
