New Years Eve in Vegas

Going to Vegas for New Years eve with a friend we are both inour late 20%26#39;s.

We land on the 31st from Ireland. Are there any shows or restuarants or clubs that you think i should book now to ensure i get in on the night.

Any suggestion on the best place to roll in the new year?

New Years Eve in Vegas

This is the busiest time and you need to book now for a show or club.

Las Vegas Blvd. (strip) closes around 3PM and no traffic allowed. So plan on this.

The covers for clubs are high. Restuarants have resevations only. If you are staying on strip, check your hotel%26#39;s clubs first to see if you like its place to eat and clubs. It is a mad house on the strip and you my want to stay close to home.

New Years Eve in Vegas

Hi my BF and I are (I%26#39;m 29 and he%26#39;s 32) are also flying in on Dec 31 but from Chicago. We are also looking for something to do. We are burnt out on the party till you puke scene and looking for something a little more grown up. Maybe a nice dinner at one of the good steakhouses. Let me know if you find anything good!!!

I%26#39;m heading over from Ireland myself for new years... Landing on the 29th... One thing I%26#39;d mention is double checking u can check in on the 31st, lot of hotels not taking checkins that day, read on a few forums of people having trouble getting confirmation that they can check in on the 31st...

As for what to do, I%26#39;ve been searching high and low for something to do... Check these sites for somemore info...

Contacting the hotels is a good idea also, have a few emails with prices and menus etc from a few of them...

Still, I haven%26#39;t got a clue what the hell I%26#39;m gonna do....

You sound like you are having the same problem as me. I arrive on the 26th december for 10 nights and I still have no idea what we are going to do on new years eve! I have looked up some stuff but not found anything to book yet.

Any help is much appreciated!

We%26#39;re also travelling over from Ireland. Got restaurant reservations in Pearl MGM Grand, may end up changing that.

A lot of the events will be posted after Thansgiving is over or so a couple of people have told me.

General entry to most of the clubs will be about $200. We%26#39;re thinking of PURE in Caesars Palace or else Studio 54.

Suggestions welcome though!

I found a few choices on this site:

have been to LV several times but have always been told to avoid this time of year. Please book a restaurant, show, club etc as I know a friend of mine didnt and had to wait something ridiculous like 3 hours to get to a buffet line - maybe an exaggeration - whatever happens - enjoy.
