Hi all,
We are going to LV for our honeymoon in June next year and were wondering if we will get a better deal by booking online? We were also wondering which company are best for value/experience etc. Any responses much appreciated.
Las Vegas Grand Canyon Helicopter TripsHi there
Last time we did this we booked online before we went so that we knew we had secured our first choice of date/time and it fitted into our plans.
My sister who had not booked ahead (she also got married in Vegas) and who waited until she was there found she was limited on choice.
This was October time and I don%26#39;t know too much about how busy it may be in June when you go.
We went with Papillon and they were very good. We had an arranged collection from our hotel and all of the staff and the pilot were excellent.
We did the Champagne Canyon landing trip and the whole experience was great. There are many different trips to choose from. Our round trip took about 3.5hrs in total.
The actual time in the air/canyon and a short re-fuelling stop was about 2hrs.
Have fun - I can%26#39;t advise on prices, but there is sure to be some more advice for you soon on the boards.
Have fund - we are going back to Vegas TOMORROW - sorry had to add that in!
Las Vegas Grand Canyon Helicopter TripsHelicopter trips from Vegas only go to the canyon%26#39;s ';West Rim';. If you%26#39;re not familiar with canyon scenery you%26#39;d probably be impressed but please don%26#39;t kid yourself that by doing this you%26#39;re seeing Grand Canyon in all its glory.
To see the canyon as depicted in the movies and photos that you%26#39;ve no doubt seen you need to go to South Rim at Grand Canyon National Park. Ideally you should stay overnight but there are fixed wing aircraft day trips from Vegas if this doesn%26#39;t fit into your schedule.
If you%26#39;re traveling all the way from Scotland you should definitely make the effort to go to South Rim rather than its way inferior western cousin.
Ditto blagger. Go to the South Rim at the Grand Canyon Nat%26#39;l Park. That%26#39;s the GC that you%26#39;re expecting to see. The two places are 150 miles apart. Imagine the difference that distance can make in your homeland.
