Just got back!

Firstly wanted to say thanks to everyone on here for your help and advice! Am ashamed to say i did ignore some of it and my first night i wore skyscraper heels (they looked cute!) but my lord did they hurt!! After that it was Uggs all the way!! Yes, they might be ugly but are SOOOO comfy!!

I did want to write a trip report, but i%26#39;m afriad i cant quite remember which order we did stuff (i%26#39;ll blame it on the jet lag and not the copious amounts of daiquiris and tequila consumed!)! and the hours upon hours spent at the roulette tables wouldnt be much fun to read about :-)

So, i%26#39;ll share a few things with you all

Stayed at Mandalay and at Desert Rose...loved both...preferred Desert Rose... purely for the fact that from jumping out of a taxi was in the room in 3 minutes as opposed to 30!!

Really good breakfast buffer at Mandalay, also had nice breakfast at Coco%26#39;s i think? which was just round corner from D.R

Hooters roulette table was my fave- i won $261! was so proud! Didnt like the slots- although i kept playing wheel of fortune and monopoly- they didnt like me!!

Think i prefer downtown...was a lot more chilled, lovely dealers in Fremont Casino who taught us how to play Roulete and didnt get (too) mad when we made a mistake! (like excitedly grabbing our winnings b4 theyd removed their markers!!)

Strip Steak in Mandalay lovely dinner- not sure worth the price!! Enjoyed Sat nights buffet at Fremont Hotel just as much- steak cooked to order, crab claws and shrimp- yuummy!! and was about a tenth of the price!

Fountain Show at Bellagio was AMAZING! everything i thought it would be and more.... wasnt as impressed with TI Sirens show

Stratosphere was much better than i expected when we popped in- and loved that huge tacky gift shop near it- had to buy coasters, ashtrays and glasses!! (and then worry about packing them!!)

weather was beautiful- which i didnt expect, so hadnt taken a bikini- would of loved to play at the beach and lazy river at Mandaly- looked great!!

I swear every taxi drive i met was drunk!! or they just drive swerving all over the road! In fact one invited us to a %26#39;gentlemans%26#39; club which i%26#39;m afraid to say i turned down!! :-)

lastly- met brock lesnar so that made my hol- dont know much about UFC but i love WWF!!!

One thing i found baffling- the boys brought cans of beer from the shop and were told they couldnt drink them in public unless in a brown paper bag??? Huh?? blatanlty everyone knows what there drinking if its in a brown bag-so whats the point??!!

Oh and last thing- i think the venetian is the prettiest hotel!

There aren%26#39;t a lot of place in the tourist areas of Las Vegas where you are not allowed to drink, but the parking lot of a liquor store is one of them. Or any parking lot.

Glad to hear you had a good trip.

I thought the Venetian and also the Bellegio were the best looking hotels. We stayed at MGM and it took forever to get anywhere, like the pool.

Wish i made it to Freemont St. Maybe next year :D
