getting to Sam's Club

Got an email message from Sam%26#39;s Club yesterday. They no longer have shuttles to Bill%26#39;s Saloon (the old Barbary Coast) or to the Tropicana. An old Tripadvisor posting suggested Showtime Airport Shuttle Service for a $35 round trip. A Google search turned up a nasty complaint about Showtime, and a search of the Vegas Better Business Bureau shows a total of 21 complaints against them in the last 3 years (this gives them a %26#39;satisfactory%26#39; rating!!!)

I figured out how to get there by bus, but does anyone have any suggestions about getting back from Sam%26#39;s to the airport (costs?? difficulty??)

I don%26#39;t know what to tell you other than rental car, taxi, or maybe a limo....BUT you may want to post this again as Sam%26#39;s TOWN not Sam%26#39;s CLUB since they mean 2 different things to us. (or did you mean Sam%26#39;s Club?)

Sam%26#39;s Club is actually a discount store and Sam%26#39;s Town a casino/hotel. :)

21 complaints in 3 years?!?! That%26#39;s amazing given that Showtime makes hundreds of airport-hotel-airport runs every day. Really, you have nothing to worry about.

We%26#39;ve used them a several times with no trouble - however, you MUST be aware of where they will pick you up at your hotel. We almost missed a pickup once because we were waiting at Luxor%26#39;s valet pickup area (farthest from the door and where we had been dropped off AND where the valet guy said to wait) but the Showtime van pulled into the ';drive through'; area immediately in front of the door.

Lesson? - Just schedule with plenty of time to spare (in case you do miss the pickup), ask where you will be picked up, and be observant while waiting.

A cab would cost about $20/25 from Sam%26#39;s Town. Your only alternative would be to take the shuttle or the bus that took you there. If you use the shuttle do leave plenty of time to get to the airport. There have been posts about shuttles (in general) not picking up on time or at all. I would just take a cab.

Why Sam%26#39;s Town? Nothing special about it and it is out of the way.

Per Sam;%26#39; Wessite they stil have shuttles but now to andfrom Harrah%26#39;s and the Rivera plus 2 locations Downtown.

A taxi runs about $25 to get to the airport. Its basically a straight shot down tropicanna to boulder highway, turn left and your there.

Catch the shuttles from harrahs or if dt from the Freemont and they will get you to Sams.

zivsylvia: Just a suggestion...leave early from Sam%26#39;s Town on the shuttle to Harrahs...visit the strip, gamble, etc, then catch the airport shuttle from harrahs for about 7 bucks...

Not sure I understand your post, but Sams Town Does have a shuttle to the airport as well if that helps
