Eiffel Tower Restaurant

Could any-one tell me if they have eaten here lately, and there oppion. Looking to book this for this Sunday evening, for Husband%26#39;s 50th Birthday meal.It was the view that made me consider this place. If anyone as any other ideas that would be great! 1st time in Vegas- arriving on Friday for a week and staying at the Mirage.

Many thanks

Eiffel Tower Restaurant

Tower is close, but for view only. The food is not the best. Mix is great and has the view (no fountains though) but at Mandalay and end of the strip.

If you want the best view-Top of the World @ the Strat is another consideration.

Maggiano%26#39;s is an Italian place in the fashion show mall (Mirage is close). It has places in Houston, Chicago. It overlooks the strip but only on the 3rd floor of the mall so the view is that section of the strip.

Eiffel Tower Restaurant

Hello, we have eaten at the Eiffel Tower restaurant and thought that it was good! I know that some people didn%26#39;t give them good reviews. It was our friends wedding anniversary and we wanted to do something special. We ordered the $89.00 appetizer and split it between our party of 4. I know that it sounds expensive but we got a lobster, crab, scallops, oysters, shrimps, mussels and clams. It was perfect for 4 people. We all ordered the surf and turf and enjoyed it tremendously. The view and the ambiance is amazing. It is not something we do often so we spoiled ourselves a bit. You only live once, right?

Sincerely, Nicaribbean

We eat at the restaurant during our first visit to Vegas in July of this year. We thought both the food and service was fantastic and as we had a window seat we had a fabulous view of the fountains. I have seen several bad reviews of this restaurant but we thought it was well worth the money and we will be eatting their again during our next visit at the end of November.

It is a wonderful restaurant. And contrary to what some people say, the food is not an afterthought. Chef Joho, of Chicago%26#39;s Everest and Brasserie Jo oversees the kitchen and it lives up to his reputation.

Of the last 16 reviews on Tripadvisor, 15 people rated it 4/5 or 5/5. One person gave it 2/5. So I%26#39;m not sure where these supposed bad reviews are. I think people tend to see ten reviews and only remember the negative one.

I think because of the view, a lot of people go there for dinner, who would otherwise not go into such an establishment. Eiffel Tower is of the same breed as Picasso, Alize, and other top tier restaurants. The prices are completely in line with these establishments.

Do know, this is a traditional, European style restaurant. The tables are a little close together, the room is loud, and the wait staff is always buzzing about the room. But the experience is real, and exceptional.

No offense intended to the poster who mentioned Maggiano%26#39;s, but these two restaurants aren%26#39;t even in the same league. I%26#39;ve been to Maggiano%26#39;s, and it%26#39;s good. But that%26#39;s like saying ';don%26#39;t bother taking the private jet, the greyhound bus will get you there just as well!';.

I had dinner there Monday night and it was fabulous!! The ambiance is wonderful, both of the restaurant itself, but also of those spectacular fountains at Bellagio! I could watch those all day and all night! The only thing I wished was that the music of the fountains could somehow be piped into the restaurant~!

I have dined at the Jules Verne restaurant at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and for what I had, the ET Paris is pretty close to the Jules Verne. The prices are high ($22 for a glass of champagne!), but the food is wonderful and, of course, you%26#39;re also paying for the view and the Tower.

I placed an order for a chocolate souffle when I placed my dinner order and, oh my goodness, I am still droooling!!

Go and enjoy!!

The food and service is excellent at Eiffel. I would say the menu and wine cellar are more mainstream than Chef Joho%26#39;s Everest here in Chicago, but I would venture to guess that is to have a wider appeal to the Vegas market. Eiffle is a bit of blend of Brasseie Jo and Everest. I often wonder if some are more put off by the price rather than the actual food and service.

I am one of those posters who is not crazy about Eiffel Tower- and I have eaten there more than once(not by choice). It has nothing to do with the price. I really do prefer Alize (I have eaten there many times)because I truly think the food is much better there. There is no right or wrong response- it is just a matter of opinion. I would go with Alize over Eiffel Tower.

Interesting that you say that about Alize. I was there Monday night, and while the view and the service were top notch, the food didn%26#39;t impress me.

It%26#39;s a very high standard these establishments have set, and it%26#39;s not that anything was wrong with the food at Alize, but as I spoke with my dining companion the next day, we both agreed there was nothing particularly memorable about the food.

I guess it goes to show, in any given restaurant, on any given day...

I%26#39;ve eaten there and was not impressed. The view is great but that%26#39;s where the good stuff ends!!

The food was appalling. The portions were tiny (and i%26#39;m not a big eater), the food was cold and bland.

It%26#39;s supposed to be a up-market Parisian restaurant - i%26#39;m not too sure where cheese balls as an appetizer fit into this?!

There was no thought or care in the menu or food preparation.

The service was awful too - our waiter was sycophantic yet very patronising.

The meal (and wine) was also very expensive. Not worth the money.

I personally will never eat there again, and i would suggest you try somewhere else. I believe there are some lovely restaurants in the Bellagio - Olives, overlooking the fountains perhaps.

Thank-you for all your comments!
