Do to the poor economy moneys going to be tight on this trip (January 1st - 7th)Were staying our first two nights at Golden Nugget downtown and then moving to the strip and got a Suite at Imperial Palace.
So I have been to see Fat Elvis, and I was wondering what other sort of Lounge Acts are there around, or free shows? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Best Lounge Acts and Free Shows?';Fat Elvis';? I think Big Elvis may be a little upset by that!
The dueling pianos shows at Harrah%26#39;s and NYNY can be fun.
Best Lounge Acts and Free Shows?There are a couple magic afternoon shows that are free (2 drink minimum)
Would not call him ';fat'; elvis. Big Elvis lost over 400 lbs
Opps! My Bad.
my appologys to MR Big Elvis.
I agree with blagger- the dueling pianos at Harrah%26#39;s(after 9PM) are always fun- especially when the twins are there. If you don%26#39;t like what you hear- take a few steps out of the casino and you have Carnaval Court- another fun place.
Big Elvis virgin here. Where%26#39;s Big Elvis at?
TIA!
Big Elvis plays at Bill%26#39;s weekday afternoons, and is a must-see at least once.
Saw Big Elvis for the first time when I was there last month. That was my 15th or so trip.....I have lost count. Always wanted to see him, but never made it, so this time I made it a priority. Agree that he is worth seeing. And I still can%26#39;t imagine what he must have looked like 400 pounds ago as he is still BIG, with a big voice. Also seems like a really nice person.
I had three nights in Vegas in June and on each night we stopped by at Harrah%26#39;s for dueling pianos and margaritaville for their house band. Don%26#39;t remember the name but they sang some quality songs and introduced to ';save a horse, ride a cowboy';
We also went to see legends (obviously costs) but beforehand we went for a drink where they have the karoake. That was fun!
Off again in 33 days! This time with the girlfriend. Hope to see the dueling piano%26#39;s and margaritaville band again.
I think the Frankie Moreno band is entertaining. They put on free lounge shows. Last time I was there (in Sept) they played at the Strat and the Golden Nugget
When I first saw Big Elvis - years and years ago- he could barely move. He would limp to his chair and sit down the whole time. He is now up and moving around!
