Peppermill Tower vs. Tuscany Tower

We are going in Feb. 2009 and considering staying in the Peppermill tower or Tuscany Tower. Price is not an issue. I am a little concerned about the walk from the Tuscany Tower to the casino. Can someone explain how long the walk is? Also will the Peppermill tower rooms be remodeled by then? Thanks.

Peppermill Tower vs. Tuscany Tower

Hi-

The Pep is my home away from home. I stay there every year.

The walk from the Tuscany tower is a bit of an inconvenience in my opinion. The room is really nice, i just like the convenience of being able to get right down into the casino. You cant do that in the Tuscany Tower. Its not a really long walk by any means, you just have to walk thru the mob of people checking in and what not.

They have remodeled alot of the rooms in the old tower, but arent done yet. They were supposed to start remodeling again this coming Feb. I did get to see one of the remodeled rooms and it was nice. I would be happy to stay in one.

So if you are going to visit there during Feb, you may want to stay in a Tuscany Tower room, to avoid the chance of hearing any construction noise.

I posted some pics of my recent stay at the Peppermill in a Tuscany Tower room if you want to check them out.

I am a 66 year old Diabetic/triple by passer with Prostrate Cancer %26amp; I did not find the walk excessive at all.

We stayed in the Tuscany Tower, comped three nights when they first opened up the rooms and there the top rooms we have found!

Yes the walk is long but we fixed that by stopping off for nice dinner on second floor before donating in casino.

The Peppermill is nice but if we were to go back to the Peppermill Tower rooms we would rather stay at the Atlantis down the street.

Like the Atlantis Casino better and hate all those funky lights in Peppermill Casino!

Also even though Peppermill brags of looses slots in town we have never won there and do win at the Atlantas!

peddler: congratulations on being a survivor!! Prostate cancer is bad enough, but sounds like you have gone thru a lot...keep it up!!
