MGM Grand - New Lower rates!

Hey all,

I just received an email from MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas for a special rate of $49!

I had previously posted about their $69 rates to help ya%26#39;ll save some money for gambling, clubbing, or whatever you choose to do while you%26#39;re in Vegas, and when I received this offer, my jaw dropped! The $49 rates are good for Sunday - Thursday, while Friday and Saturday are $99.

If you wanna check it out, go to their website and type in Offer code: SDM070.

Have a great time in Vegas, I know I always do! :D

MGM Grand - New Lower rates!

Wow ! That%26#39;s awesome. I currently have a reservation thru casino marketing for $59 a night the 2nd week of december do you think I would be able to convince them to lower my rate to match that .. or would I have to cancel with them and book it online to get the $30 savings ? I know it isnt much but these days any little bit saved helps . I would end up giving it back to them gambling but thats besides point lol .

Thank you for sharing.

I%26#39;m guessing you must be a member of the MGM/Mirage Players Club to enjoy this price?

-- LoL lucky12day! I don%26#39;t know if casino would match it, if I were you%26#39;d I%26#39;d cancel and re-book to guarantee I%26#39;d get the lower rate.

Before canceling, book it first, and when all is said and done, THEN cancel...you don%26#39;t want to end up without a room! Eek...

-- Lowrance: Absolutely not! I%26#39;m not a players club member, although I should be! Anyone can book this deal :)

Thank you 99!

Looks like a great deal BUT I just called and tried to change my reservation with this promo code but the agent said she wouldn%26#39;t be able to change my reservation because this promo was through the casino marketing group....yeah..whatever that means! LOL

I asked her do I have to be a player card member or something and she said yes.....???

Not necessary to be players card member. I%26#39;m surprised about not being able to cancel; I can cancel 48 hours prior but maybe that%26#39;s because I booked it myself direct with MGM via the net.

Yeah I probably can cancel and try to rebook online without talking to anyone but I was needing 2 rooms and everytime I tried to enter the 2 rooms it defaulted only to one room that%26#39;s why I thought it might be best to call and ask more about this promo before I bother cancelling my original deal and try booking with this code.

Oh well I still got a pretty decent deal $160 for 3 nights isn%26#39;t bad either!

I booked with MGM about 4 weeks ago when they offered the No Regrets. My room is $64 per night. I would like to change it to the lower price, but it says it cannot be changed or canceled.

The ';No Regrets'; makes you regret that it is a Non-Refundable, No Changes reservation. They have been offering this kind of deal for almost all of their properties and its really not a deal when they start lowering rates everyday.

Yeah this deal I believe is best booked online rather than through telephone. At least you%26#39;ll know for next time when you make a reservation to try this code out...

According to the website, the offer expires at the end of December, but I%26#39;m pretty sure if it does well, they%26#39;ll probably extend it. That would be awesome!

A while ago, they had a promo code (MGM021) that gave rates similar to No Regrets! (I just checked and the rates are about $59 now...they were $69). But with this deal you also get a $35 activity credit, and some other cool stuff...

The way this economy is right now, any extras work for me :)
