Birthday dinner ideas

Trying to find a nice restaurant for a 40th birthday dinner. We%26#39;re staying at Bellagio and have tix for 930pm for LOVE at Mirage. Budget is $100-$200 for 2 people without wine. Maybe a cocktail but no wine. I%26#39;m not looking for anything super fancy but I do like steak, lobster, itallian, mexican, asian/chinese/thai but no sushi. I%26#39;m not into snails or goose/duck liver. YUCK!

I%26#39;ve been looking at some menus on line and I%26#39;m just not sure where would be a nice place to celebrate a 40th birthday, enjoy some really good food and maybe a drink or two before the Cirque show. We%26#39;ll have a car and we can also walk. My first thought was to dine at either Bellagio or the Mirage but I%26#39;m open to other hotel restaurants, just don%26#39;t want to be late for the show.

Ideas much appreciated.

Prime at the Bellagio is supposed to be nice.

We are having a birthday dinner when we are in Vegas next week @ The Country Club @ the Wynn. It it supposed to be really good. When I called, I told the reservations person that it was a special occasion, and she said she would make sure we got a table with a waterfall view and a complimentary dessert brought to the table.

Prime at Bellagio is excellent, it%26#39;s also one of the top rated restaurants in Vegas. The restaurant is beautiful, food is delicious and service is excellent. I love having after dinner coffee and dessert out on their pvt patio, it%26#39;s lovely out there. They have gas heaters to ward off the cold. You have a front row seat for the fountain shows from there. It%26#39;d also be great for a pre dinner drink.

Olives at Bellagio is also quite good, food is super but it%26#39;s not quiet and elegant like Prime is and tables are a little close together if privacy would be an issue for you.

If you do book Prime, have the Concierge at Bellagio do it for you, tell them what the special occasion is, I%26#39;m sure they will do something nice for you. Also, when booking request a table by the windows so you can view the lake while dining. When you arrive, tell them you%26#39;d like to have coffee/dessert out on the patio.

You might want to consider Mesa Grill at Caesar%26#39;s, right on your way from Bellagio to Mirage.
