best and reasonable italian

Wondering what the best choice for italian dinners would be. Is casa di amore as good as the reviews say? It sounds like it could be a little tacky. How does maggianos compare. Thanks for the advice.

best and reasonable italian

Maggianos is a chain that you can find in lots of cities. A hair better than Olive Garden, it is known for serving mega-sized portions. I%26#39;d try to find something more local. Unfortunately my favorite Italian places in vegas are a little on the pricey side.

How about II Fornaio? I had breakfast there and it was reasonable and the service was great. I would sit inside since they set a lovely table.

Yes, it is that good. Especially when you consider the overall experiance. That%26#39;s why people rave about the place, it isn%26#39;t just about the food. But understand, this is not gourmet Italian, anymore than Maggiano%26#39;s is.

It is traditional cuisine. If you are looking for gourmet or creative Italian cooking you might try Bartolotta, or maybe Mario Batalli%26#39;s restaurant.

I really like Maggiano%26#39;s, I enjoyed it more than some of the other italian restaurants I have been to. I haven%26#39;t gone to any of the high end italian restaurants in Vegas yet.

Piero%26#39;s

Chicago Joes is very good and reasonably priced.

Pasta Shop and Chicago Joes are the two best in town, and dirt cheap compared to the others mentioned.

maggiano%26#39;s is a chain specializing in quantity over quality, nothing special. Casa gets a lot of press here, the limo ride impresses many - given that you tip $40 ($20 ea way minimum) I%26#39;d put that money towards better food - it%26#39;s just OK, a little better than Maggiano%26#39;s.

at least no one has suggested batista%26#39;s - truly horrible food and undrinkable free wine. yeah, a lot of pix on the wall and guys older than me with some character - too bad the food is truly horrible.

we like L

Bridgefan - what/where is ';L?';

thanks

I would recommend two off strip places:

Mimmo Ferraro%26#39;s Restaurant

and

Pasta Shop %26amp; Ristorante

Enjoy your meals.
